Flight Training

The core activity of the Tauranga Aero Club is flight training of student and professional pilots towards their Private Pilot Licence, Commercial Pilot Licence,  and Instructor Rating, as well as type ratings and Biennial Flight Reviews. Through our partnership with Sunair Aviation we also train pilots    towards their  Instrument Rating and First Conversion  to Multi Engine Type. The club employs a dedicated team of full time, professional flying instructors  and operates a  small fleet of training aircraft. For more on flight training at the  club, and for frequently asked questions, click on the Training page from the  menu  opposite.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available if you want to give someone else the gift of flying. We can tailor a gift voucher to meet any requirement, such as a hands on trial flight with an instructor, an aerobatic flight, a gift voucher valid for an introductory training package covering several lessons, or a scenic flight. If you want to know more, contact us anytime.
